New sports complex coming to Wesley Chapel
Wesley Chapel is getting an all new, high end, sports complex. A few months ago the Pasco County Commissioners Board unanimously approved for a new sports complex to be built in Wesley Chapel.
It is labeled as a multi-use tourism sports facility, that will also provide minor league development for ages 9-18, as well as hosting basketball and soccer tournaments. Additionally, it will have an on site pet friendly hotel for anyone who visits. The Wesley Chapel area is growing rapidly, so the timing of this facility fits that need.
“Given the explosive growth of the Wiregrass area and the commitment of Pasco County, we think this project is poised to exceed all expectations,” President of Mailsail Lodging and Development Joe Collier commented.
RADDSPORTS is the company heading the development of this very large project. Not only are they building basketball courts and football fields, but bicycle and nature tracks are also planned for the development.

This project has huge implications for the Wesley Chapel community, it will create more opportunities for young kids, bring in teams from out of county and state for tournaments, and even more jobs will be available in the community.
Students are also very excited for another place to practice their craft and compete with their classmates.
“I think it would be a great addition to the community, and it’ll be a great place to play soccer,” Senior Caleb Prince commented.
This complex is a game changer for the community and students are ready for it to be completed.
