Things to do this holiday season
The Stampede’s top four places for holiday fun this year.
WRHS presents fun activities to do during the holidays.
During the holiday season, it can be hard to find fun things to do to get into the spirit of the season, but The Stampede has composed the top four places to visit this winter nearby.

1. Busch Garden’s Christmas Town
Located in Tampa, Florida- Busch Garden’s Christmas Town is something fun for the whole family. Running from November 16th through January 6, this event includes holiday dining, shows and Christmas lights, their famous “Christmas Town Village”, and meet and greets with some of your favorite holiday characters. Admission is free for all current pass members but for non-pass holders, ticket prices start at $84.99 for a single day ticket.
2. Enchant Christmas
Located in St. Pete, Florida- Enchant Christmas is a whimsical Christmas wonderland full of bright, magical lights. Different areas of the park provide different things. With options like “The Maze”, “Christmas Market”, “Santa’s Landing”, “Ice Skating Trail”, and dining, the fun never ends! Ticket prices vary per person and date but range from $14.99 – $32.99 for standard tickets; VIP options are also available.

3. Wiregrass mall: Symphony In Lights
Lights “dance” to the beat of the festive music played by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra while “snow” fills the air at the Wiregrass Mall’s Symphony In Lights. There are also performances in front of the tree from local dance studios and even a puppet show on select nights. The mall is festively decorated and stores are still able to be walked through to get your Christmas shopping done! This free event is every half hour from 6-9 pm nightly and ends December 31st.
4. Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree Trail
Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree Trail is another fun, free activity to do during the holidays. Here, families and friends are able to walk down a curvy path filled with beautiful tress decorated with various Disney movie and franchise themes while joyous music fills the air and “snow” falls. Shops and restaurants also fill the paths, leaving plenty of options for endless fun throughout the night or day!
