Featured Athlete– Varsity Basketball player Devin Wilson
Playing since a young boy and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
Devin Wilson is a Senior at Wiregrass Ranch High School and has been playing Varsity basketball for the Bulls for two years now. He wears number 21 on the court and plays a big role for the Bulls.
Wilson has been playing since he was four years old and was heavily influenced by his brother.
“My brother played so I looked up to him, I always wanted to beat him so it drove me to be a better player,” says Wilson.
He has been a dominant player for the Bulls and is leading the team this year averaging 15.7 points per game as well as 4.3 assists per game.

Wilson does not plan on stopping his basketball career in high school.
“I am really looking forward to playing after high school, I have some junior colleges and division 3 schools looking at me,” boasted Wilson.
Wilson looks up to the Houston Rockets point guard James Harden and really likes his play style.
“My favorite player is James Harden, he gets his whole team involved in the game while still getting his necessary points.”
Devin transferred to Wiregrass his Junior year. He enjoys the way his team plays and has built a very strong bond with all of his teammates. The team has had some struggles this year, but he remains optimistic.
“I love how fast pace we play and how we are all like a family. We have some things we have to work on, but so does every family.”
The Bulls are currently 4-4. Wilson is looking forward to the upcoming Pasco game, as they have just come off a tough loss to Mitchell.

“Pasco is going to be an important game. We need to show out and come together as a team to prove we can come back from a tough loss.”
