A few DIY’s to relieve Stress
Are you stressed? Need something to help you out? Well look no further, here are three simple DIY’s to help you relax.
1.Cold Relief Bath Soak
Supplies:
- 1 cup of Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup coarse sea salt
- 5-10 drops of each essential oil (Lavender, Lemon, and Eucalyptus)
- Glass jar with a lid
Start by mixing the Epsom salt, sea salt, and baking soda together until well combined.
Next, add your essential oils. Which is lavender, lemon and eucalyptus. Lavender offers antiseptic and antimicrobial qualities, lemon is said to help boost the immune system and eucalyptus is often described as a great decongestant.
Store in an air-tight jar in a cool, dry place and when you feel under the weather just add a few spoonfuls to your bath and soak for at least a half hour.
2. The Hydrating Avocado Mask
Supplies:
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 teaspoon plain organic yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of honey
The hydrating avocado mask helps with stressed-out skin from a day outdoors. Just mash the avocado until it is soft and then mix the yogurt and honey in until it forms a paste. Apply it to your face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
3. Flour Stress Ball
Supplies:
- Party balloons
- Flour
- Funnel
- Scissors
This DIY is a simple stress relieving device. All you need to do is stretch the balloon, fill it with flour and then you’re done.
