The annual Florida State Fair will be back again from February 9th through February 20th, in Tampa.

General admission will cost $11 each on Mondays-Thursdays, and $13 on Fridays-Sundays. Armbands, which will allow access to limited rides, will cost $25 each on Mondays-Thursdays and $35 on Fridays-Sundays. Free parking will be available as well.

Plenty of entertainment will be offered at the fair, including rides, shows, concerts, and more.

There will be a variety of different rides, appealing to all age groups. These will include roller coasters, thrill rides, and family rides.

Multiple shows will be performed on each day of the Fair. Some of the most popular shows are Welde’s Big Bear Show, Sea Lion Splash, and Hollywood Racing Pigs. All shows will be free with gate admission.

This year, there will be ten different artists performing concerts at the fair. The lineup includes: Shalyah Fearing, Mighty Mongo, The Z Street Band, Tribute to the Statler Brothers, Elvis Extravaganza, Shawn Scheller and the Contenders, The Lauren Mitchell Band, Building 429, and Joe Zuniga. Artists will be performing on different days, as listed on the Florida State Fair website. Concerts will also be free with gate admission.

Alejandra Zuluaga, a senior at Wiregrass Ranch High School (WRHS), shares her thoughts on the Florida State Fair.

“I have never been, but I plan on going this year. It looks like a lot of fun, especially all of the rides they will have this year. I am also excited to see the shows,” says Zuluaga.

The Florida State Fair never fails to satisfy guests, and everyone is encouraged to attend!
